The composition has a very intimate character and is a sort of “adagio” for strings. The piece is built from just a few simple elements — “the soul” — which are explored and spun into focus until they form a violent sonic image, nothing more than the “telescopic” magnification of the faint initial idea.

La composizione ha un carattere molto intimo ed è una sorta di “adagio” per archi. Il brano è costituito da pochissimi semplici elementi, “l’anima”, che vengono esplorati e vorticosamente messi a fuoco fino a costruire un’immagine sonora violenta, che altro non è che l’ingrandimento “al telescopio” della flebile idea iniziale.
